Twist.
Sewing is usually on a Sunday.
Today however is a public holiday so I got confused
and ended up sewing today instead.
The project I set out to complete today
was a pin cushion worthy of hanging out on my sew table.
Why a pin cushion?
This is why.
Guess what I love?
Whales.
For this project you will need
- a few sheets of felt (whatever colours you fancy)
- stuffing
- needle & thread
This isn't exactly going to be a proper tutorial as I'm feeling lazy.
But first up you need to draw and cut out your whale bits.
Once that is done you can begin to sew the sides and top together.
Then attach the fins to the whales belly.
Cut a 2-3cm slit in the belly so that you can fill it.
Now stuff it.
To cover the belly 'scar' cut out a heart shape
and stitch it over the stuffing hole.
Now your done.
Last step is to pin in all those dangerously loose pins.
Ta-dahhhh!

I love this so much, how cute is he!!!
