 It's been a month since I have posted a Friday song.

I've been a bit glum lately with my work situation.

My senior technician has been offered a job with an annual salary close to100k.

A job that involves setting up new laboratory instruments.

Loads of travel and learning new things.

 I thought he was gone.

But I received some good news at work last night.

He turned down the job of his dreams!

I know how that reads.

Turns out I'm not the only one who is sometimes scared of change.

 I shouldn't be so happy that he turned the job offer down.

I swear I'm not a bitch.

But hey it is his choice and it certainly makes my work life a fuck load easier.

So I can't help but be happy.

So happy in fact that it even feels fridayish.

Despite the harsh reality of it really being Monday.

Warning: The following is not so folky and slightly heavier.

But still awesome.
