Failing

Remember a little while ago when I set a few simple goals?
Well here is an update.

Bad food choices
I'm still eating an obscene amount of junk food.
No excuses.
I just am.

 Walking my dogs
Since that post I have walked Luna once.
Yoshi zero.

Finish a book
Nope.
I currently have 4 on the go though so I'm sure I'll get there soon.

Exercise
For about 3 days I met my pitiful goal of 15 minutes of exercise a day.
This is embarrassing but I'm going to share it with you anyway because I probably deserve it.
Ever heard of Zumba?
I can't dance and possess nothing even remotely close to rhythm.
(let's be honest here and can hardly even spell rhythm. It took me 6 times to get it right)
BUT
in my lounge room with the blinds tightly shut, I did it.
I felt stupid the entire time, which was only made worse by the
realisation that my dogs were watching me.
With a definite look.
I could actually hear them in my head.
Yoshi - "Ha, this bitch thinks she's Latino.
Luna - "Oh, dude I know. Did you see her trying to samba?"
Yoshi - "Seriously, I want to look away but I can't."

The next day I had to put them outside for Zumba time.
As horrifyingly embarrassing as it is, Zumba is actually a fairly hard workout.
Plenty of moving and jumping and I could feel my body being pushed.
I lasted 15 minutes but each session is supposed to go for 45 minutes.
So I cheated a bit there and just stopped when the steps got too hard.
The steps can be tricky.
Plus, even though I know this sounds bad/pathetic it sounds,
I couldn't help but be a little turned on by the
Zumba animation character who was teaching me the steps.
The playstation actually asks if you want a male or female instructor.
Umm duh.
It was mostly her fault for saying how great I was doing
and for telling me how good I looked.
Damn you sexy animation and your hot back up dancers!

 There you have it.
A recap of my failing as of late.
I haven't given up.

After all, is there not still 2 weeks of Spring left?

I'm glad you also feel judged by your pets, I don't like to get changed in front of mine...
